Secrets Of Salsa Training Course

We are offering two courses for Intermediate & Above dancers:

1) Secrets of Salsa for Social Dancers - Mondays 7:30PM-8:30PM for 7 weeks

2) Secrets of Salsa for Performers - Thursdays 7:30PM-8:30PM for 7 weeks

Or, do you just want to get more technique tips than what we can offer in our regular group classes to take your social dancing to a whole new level?  

If any of those questions apply to you, then we have the course that will do that and more!! Get ready for our "Secrets Of Salsa" Training Course!

This course will break down technique in detail and help you correct bad habits. It will also prepare you to either kick butt on the dance floor social dancing or performing whichever you are striving for.  We created two separate branches of focus to make this course that much more effective.  If your goal is to excel at both then we recommend that you register for both, since the skills that make a great social dancer are not the same that make a great performer.  

Yes it is true that some skills do overlap, but the way that we apply these techniques are quite different.  In the performance course all the techniques will be addressed from the perspective of a performer who is specifically aiming at performing well in front of an audience - therefore a high value will be placed on charisma, stage presence, etc.  In the social dancing course all the techniques will be addressed from the perspective of a social dancer who is specifically aiming at doing well on the social dance-floor at a club/party/dance, etc.  So one is focused on pleasing the audience while the other is focused on pleasing their partner.

1) Timing - Secrets on Improving your timing so that you stay with the music

2) Body Movement - Secrets of Isolation, Body Control & Movement

3) Footwork - Shines, Fancy Footwork (Masculine for the Men & Feminine for the Ladies) Secrets on how to create your own solo

4) Lead & Follow - Resistance & Connection Secrets to instantly improve your leading or following

5) Spinning - Secrets on how to Double and Tripple your spinning abilities

6) Dips/Lifts/Tricks - Secrets on how to properly execute those attention getting Dips/Lifts/Tricks

7) Styling During Partner Work - Secrets on how to style during partner work (Masculine for the Men & Feminine for the Ladies)
